The Insight Software Consortium (ISC) and the National Alliance for Medical Image Computing (NA-MIC) will host a one-day MICCAI 2007 workshop featuring peer-reviewed, Open Science publications that highlight open source data and software.
This conference will be the first to focus exclusively on the health issues experienced by patients of meningioma, the most common type of all primary brain and central nervous system (CNS) tumors.
More than 140 patients attended the first ever Meningioma Awareness Day at BWH to hear about the latest research, diagnosis, treatment and coping strategies. The conference, sponsored by the Brain Science Foundation and BWH, focused on health issues of patients with meningioma, a tumor that develops from the tissue covering the brain and spinal cord. This system really had a most remarkable history. The first human procedure on April 15 1994, a biopsy of a pelvic tumor was the start of many clinical firsts. We are deeply saddened to convey that MRT Serial# 000 has expired. The 9th Image Guided Therapy Workshop was successfully held with 98 registered attendees on March 14-15, 2017 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, One Bethesda Metro Center, Bethesda, MD 20814, USA. The overall goal of this workshop series is to foster a discourse in translational research in image-guided therapy in the NIH-funded community, and to communicate the availability of NCIGT as a national resource for tools and technologies in the field.
