Dear Colleague,

On behalf of the organizing committee, I am happy to announce the iMRI 2018 Symposium on Interventional MRI. This will be the 12th in a series dating back to the beginnings of interventional MRI. It was established by Ferenc Jolesz, Jonathan Lewin and Thomas Kahn, rotating between US (Case Western, Brigham and Hopkins) and Leipzig Germany.

The 12th Interventional MRI Symposium to be held on Friday, October 5, 2018, and Saturday, October 6, 2018, at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf Hotel, 296 State St, Boston, MA 02109. Phone: (617) 227-0800. Of note, we will also be hosting the 10th National Image-Guided Therapy Workshop on Sunday, October 7, 2018.

This meeting is focused on NIH investigators’ research projects and both meetings are open to all. We request are requesting this endorsement to promote interest in interventional MRI among the members of ISMRM. The meeting, as with all of them, is organized by the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, University of Leipzig, Germany in cooperation with the Department of Radiology, Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH), Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, and the Department of Radiology, Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD.
